David Wong is a Board member and former Chairman of the Methodist Welfare Services, and has, over the years, served in various leadership roles within the Methodist church in Singapore. He was also formerly the President of the YMCA of Singapore. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, and was previously a partner with Ernst & Young.
He is currently the Chairman of the Republic Polytechnic, and is a Board member of several companies, including United Engineers Ltd, PEC Ltd, the Energy Market Company, Banking Computer Services Pte Ltd, and PacificMas Bhd. He is also a Board member of the Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore. David has been awarded the Public Service Star (Bar) and the Public Administration (Military) Medal (Silver).
