Derrick currently heads the Internal Audit of the SIA group of companies. He has spent about 20 years in various roles in Hewlett Packard and Compaq Computers including Asia Pacific IA Director, and has also held audit roles in Manufacturers Hanover Trust Bank and KPMG New Zealand.

He holds a Chartered Accountant qualification from New Zealand.
