Sallie is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction for client work and checking the integrity of all Black Sun’s research and analysis of the marketplace.

Sallie is a recognised commentator on reporting and is very active in industry debates, regularly engaging with Government, industry, regulators and best practice organisations. Sallie’s insights shape Black Sun’s thought leadership and event programmes to build awareness and greater understanding of the role corporate reporting plays in helping companies define and communicate their value creation story.

Sallie is also responsible for developing Black Sun’s Best Practice Communications Academy. The Academy offers a series of stakeholder communications strategy training courses for executive management and boards. The Academy will be running a series of programmes on sustainability reporting and integrated reporting in Singapore, Black Sun’s Asia Pacific headquarters. Black Sun is one of the foundation training partners of integrated thinking and reporting for the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC).

Sallie is an avid supporter of the IIRC, collaborating on numerous research reports to evidence the business case for integrated reporting as well as the creation and management of the Emerging Best Practice Database.
