Eligibility Criteria

Who can apply?

1. Youths between 15 – 29 years old Applicant or Team Leader has to be a Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident
2. Youths’ Organisations

What can be funded?

1. Programmes with clear objectives to equip youths in Singapore with knowledge and skills for better informed investment decisions;
2. Initiatives that raise the investment knowledge and financial literacy of the youths in Singapore
3. Initiatives that the SIAS Investor Education Committee deems to be in the interest of the market and where benefits to investor education and information can be demonstrated
4. Funds may also be used to co-fund projects of other youth organisations. Funding capped at S$5,000 or 70% of total cost, which ever is lower
5. Project should be completed within 6 months from date of award of the grant.

Others

1. Project should be legal and not have any inflammatory or discriminatory religious or racial elements, advance a partisan political agenda, or be contrary to the interest of the community and society at large
2. Funding does not cover start-up cost, operational cost of an organisation, and also capacity-building and organisation-strengthening initiatives
3. Amendments to these guidelines may be effected with the agreement of the Executive Committee of SIAS Youth Chapter and the SIAS Investor Education Committee. These changes will take into account emerging trends and relevant market developments.
