I’ve only attended an AGM once. To me, it’s like a reporting-to-me-meeting and I can ask questions. But, the company has the right not to answer my questions and most of the time they use jargon that I cannot understand. Also, I am too shy to raise questions as I do not want to look stupid. So, that was my experience. I did not get any inside news from the whole event except earning a good buffet lunch that was provided.
I think I better join SIAS as member and learn more about how to be a smart investor.
